In another meeting with Public Radio (NPR), the Unfortunate Things entertainer uncovered, "I began in treatment, I think around age 8, since it was getting truly difficult for me to take off from the house to go to class."

“It's a hard age to be able to reason with yourself, at 7 or 8, and tell yourself these things aren't true,” the Easy A actress recalled of her first panic attack at the age of seven.
"It was exceptionally difficult to persuade myself in any case," expressed Stone.
She started acting, however, when she was 11 years old, stating that all of her "big feelings are productive, and presence is required."

“I've told a lot of younger people that struggle with anxiety, that in many ways I see it as kind of a superpower,” Stone stated, describing her experience with anxiety.
